NUTRITIONAL BENEFIT OF AFRICAN LOCUST BEANS

This morning, I posted a picture on my WhatsApp timeline of me craving noodles and eggs, which had locust beans as an escort😜.

Surprisingly, I had some people asking how strange it would be to consume such a? I giggled and replied a few, saying that I could add locust beans to most of my meals. WHY? read along!

ABOUT THIS NATURAL FOOD SEASONING

The African Locust bean is a plant nutrient with a black tasty intense-scent seasoning called "Iru" in the Yoruba language, "ogili" in the Igbo language, and when boiled and fermented, is known as "DawaDawa" in the Hausa language.

It is rich in lipids, calcium, carbohydrates, and a good source of protein, as it belongs to the legume plant family and is consumed either in its mashed or free form.

Here are its health benefits:
1. It's rich in antioxidants that boost your body's immune system and digestion.
2. It contains lipids that eliminate bad fats and improve your heart health level.
3. Source of fibre that controls body sugar levels reduces the risk of diabetes and diarrhea.
4. It helps to promote good sight; this was my first motivation to eat it.
5. An anticancer nutrient, I recommend you offtime replace many chemically synthesized seasonings with this natural seasoning.

Locust beans can be added to almost every meal, not just because it tasteful🥳 but because of their distingue health benefits.

Good evening and happy democracy day.

LIFE Mission: Find a Balance

LIFE Mission: Find a Balance  In social sciences, we were made to understand that man's needs are insatiable. True as it may be, it doesn't stop us from utilizing the gift of life and our daily going forth in search of ways to fill these needs! Year 2018 has started in its majestic regalia, you might have taken time out to write out your yearly goals & dreams, taking action steps towards them every day and prioritizing your immediate wants & needs........good! good! good. I have learned that: Man's life is based on Beliefs upon which he builds his faith; our Needs lay the bedrock on which our Beliefs are built. Despite being aware of the truth that all men will someday pass on to the great beyond and be free of this cycle, many still live a carefree life in the present! with a vain sense of relief and reassurance that the pleasures of now and tempting joys from the imagination of the future will bring them to satisfy all their desires and need...

THRIVE BY LEARNING IN DISCIPLINE

Months ago, I bore on to be trained by a successful senior colleague. As an oldie, I sometimes am tempted to skip training by telling myself that I know and have done these things before. After a month, I realized newbies were delivering results I had yet to have. I mustered courage and went to meet my trainer! to access me. IToas confident he would give me the needed spanking and motivational alignment, but lo😭, he said_ hosanna be more disciplined. It took me weeks to readjust, humble myself, and start doing what was needed to cause a shift in my mental attitude; the results I got were changing for the better. I am excited to share these transformational life cues with you today : 1. Be OPEN! Be CURIOUS:  You have to become like a child in any learning sphere. Learn to watch, talk less & do more than average. 2. HUMILITY: This will take you to places and help you learn from nobody and everybody to be Somebody. 3. DISCIPLINE: without this, no man can be trul...

HOW SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE LEAD

So today, i will be sharing with you my review from John C. Maxwell book on leadership development  Book Title - How Successful People Lead Author - John. C. Maxwell  The Author began by stating the importance of leadership in achieving personal and organisation success in life. Leadership is about dealing with people and their dynamic nature and the goal of it is to create change and facilitate growth. To achieve this goal, you must grow and lead through five different levels. Level 1: POSITION People follow you because of your positional appointment. A major downside of this level is that it places rights over responsibilities; Its a good place to start but not to occupy. Level 2: PERMISSION At this level, people follow you because the like and trust you. You begin to gain influence because you value and have relationship with your followers. The downside of this leadership level is that you cab be taken advantage of! because of your openness. Level 3: ...
